Reset a Contact's Password

There are two ways to change contact passwords as an admin:

IMPORTANT: Contacts can also reset their passwords by clicking the Forgot your password? link on the login page.


How to Reset Contact Passwords by Email

  1. Sign in to Sensr Portal as an administrator.
  2. Click Contacts from the main menu. 
  3. Scroll over or search for the contact you'd like to reset the password for and click their profile name. 
  4. Click Reset password and select Send a reset password email
  5. Confirm the email content then click Send email.

NOTE: Password request emails will expire for security reasons. The email's expiry date is noted in the email dialog. If you'd like to change that date, please contact customer support.


How to Reset Contact Passwords Manually

  1. Sign in to Update Capital as an administrator.
  2. Click Contacts from the main menu. 
  3. Scroll over or search for the contact you'd like to reset the password for and click their profile name. 
  4. Click Reset password and Select Enter a new password.
  5. Type in a secure password then click Change password.

NOTE: This option is commonly used for contacts that don't have an email address, aren't using email, or are having trouble receiving the password email

IMPORTANT: Please communicate the password over the phone or using any other secure channel.
