How to Assign Actions to the Investment Request Table
Proactively assigning actions ensures that all newly accepted investments coming into a deal will be required to complete. This includes actions such as signing documents, updating their profile, and receiving further instructions. It is recommended that these types of actions are applied to a fund proactively to reduce the amount of effort spent on coordinating with each investment owner, resulting in a more streamlined process.
Proactively Assign Actions to the Investment Requests Table
IMPORTANT: Actions must be created before they can be assigned. Ensure you have created your actions beforehand by referencing the article How to Create Login Actions on Sensr Portal.
- Navigate to the Functions and click on Actions from the menu.
- Review the list of Actions to ensure your actions are organized in the correct order that you want them to appear for any specific property.
NOTE: Actions are initiated in the order they appear from the top down in Functions.
For example in the image below, if we are only applying two actions to the property Cambie Apartments, listed under the Description column, the action described as Cambie Apartments - Profile Update would be launched first. Once completed by the user, the second action Cambie Apartments - Wire Instructions would be launched next.
- To change the order of any actions you want to move, click the Up or Down option to the right under the Manage column
Now you are ready to apply the action(s). Click on the Funds page and navigate to the fund you want to apply the specific actions to. On the fund page, click on the Requests tab and click on the Actions button.
Select which action(s) you want all investments to complete once their investment request has been accepted. Check the box Notify users of pending actions via email to let investment owners know they have outstanding actions to complete.
- Click Save when you are ready to apply the action(s). Actions will begin when an investment request is accepted.
