Understand the Investor ID

Be advised the Investor ID is the same as Entity ID.

What is the Investor ID?

The Investor ID is a unique numeric identifier that belongs to each investor. This field is visible throughout Sensr Portal. Click here to learn more about where the Investor ID can be found. Below are a few important details to keep in mind about Investor IDs:

Each Investor ID is a unique identifier and follows the investor throughout the system.
The Investor ID is an Entity attribute and is not able to be configured.
The Investor ID is only visible once the feature is turned on.

IMPORTANT: If the Investor ID is not visible in your system, this means the feature has not been enabled. Contact your Client Success Manager to inquire about enabling the Investor ID.

What about the Partner ID?

The Partner ID is a unique identifier provided by a third party that is also visible throughout Sensr Portal such as on the Investor Details Overview tab. Important details to keep in mind about Partner IDs:

Each Partner ID is a unique identifier and follows the investor throughout the system.
The partner ID is client-provided and is not able to be configured.
The partner ID can be used to split a file during bulk file upload once the feature is turned on.

Where is the Investor ID found?

The Investor ID is visible on the following pages and will also appear on any templates. Keep in mind, that the Investor ID is displayed for the primary investor as well as any secondary investors.
