Simultaneous Access
To strengthen security and safeguard privacy on the Investor Portal, simultaneous access is prohibited. This means the same credentials cannot be used at the same time during an active session by multiple admin or contact users. Ultimately, a user can only login with their credentials to access the system from one device at a time.
Example Scenario
To put this into context, suppose you're already logged into an active session on the portal from a mobile device and you want to continue working on your desktop. Upon logging into your desktop, a notification will appear to alert you that you are already logged in from another device and you may only have one concurrent session at a time.
At this point, you will need to decide whether or not to continue working from the mobile device or move over to your desktop. The login page provides two options indicated on the login notification image below which states:
You are already have a session in progress. You may only have one concurrent session at a time. Continuing to log in will log you out of the other session.
Notification Options
- Click Back to return to the original session, log back in, and continue working in the portal.
- Click Continue login from this device to end the original open session and continue with the login on the other device.
IMPORTANT: When forced to logout of an open session, you will see the login page and a message that reads: Your session has expired. Please sign in again to continue.
