Settings: Security

Access your Settings on the portal directly in the contact menu located in the upper right corner under your initials. The menu is organized in two tabs: Security and Email.

Security Tab

Under the Security Tab, you can view and manage 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) and Change your password. Sensr supports three types of 2FA: Email, SMS and App.  Email 2FA is enabled by default for all investors while adding an App Authenticator or SMS Authentication is optional.

TIP: Click the Change Password button to update your password. A popup appears for you to complete this action and confirm the change.


Add App Authenticator

  1. On the Security tab, click the Add App Authenticator button as seen above.
  2. Scan the QR code with your authentication app of choice and enter the verification code.


  1. Click Add Authenticator.
  2. Once completed, a popup appears to notify you that you have successfully added an authenticator.


Remove App Authenticator

If an App Authenticator has already been added and you would like to remove it and perhaps change to a different app authenticator, navigate to the Security tab.

  1. Click on the Remove App Authentication button.
  2. In the popup that appears, enter the code sent by your authenticator app. Refer to the image below.

  1. Click the Remove Authenticator button.

IMPORTANT: If you remove SMS 2FA or App Authenticator 2FA, 2 Factor Authentication will revert back to the default Email 2FA.


Add SMS 2FA

  1. On the Security tab, click the Add SMS Authentication button as seen below.

  2. Enter the cellphone number you want to receive the SMS 2FA code.

  3. Click Send SMS to receive a verification code at the provided cellphone number.

  4. Enter the code and click Verify to enable 2FA SMS Authentication. A popup appears when SMS Authentication has been successfully added.

Remove SMS 2FA

  1. On the Security tab, click the Remove SMS 2FA Authentication button as seen below.

  2. Enter the verification code at the cellphone number on record and click Remove SMS Authentication to remove 2FA SMS Authentication.


IMPORTANT: If you remove SMS 2FA or App Authenticator 2FA, 2 Factor Authentication will revert back to the default Email 2FA.


Receive and Enter 2FA Codes

Upon login to the Investor portal, you are prompted to enter a 2FA code. This code is either emailed, sent to you by an authenticator app or to your mobile device via SMS. The reference image below shows where to enter a 2FA Authentication code sent by email so you know what to look for on your desktop or mobile devices.

TIP: Sensr Portal is compatible with several different authenticator apps, such as Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, LastPass Authenticator, etc. If you already use an authenticator app, we suggest using the one you have.


Change Password

You can reset your password easily by selecting Change Password on the Profile Menu or on the Security tab. Verify the current password, enter and confirm the new password, and click Update.
