Send Newsletters to Specific Contact Groups with Tags
Tags can be used to send newsletters to specific groups of contacts. First you must Create a Newsletter.
- In the edit Newsletter page, at the bottom, enter the tags you would like to filter the Newsletter communication to.
- The Newsletter will then first be filtered by the funds for which an update was provided, then it will filter by contacts who match at least one of the tags provided in the Send to tagged contacts only field.
IMPORTANT: If you select more than one tag, the system includes contacts that have at least one of the selected tags.
- On the Newsletters page, clicking on View to the right of a specific newsletter to preview who will be sent the newsletter as well as review any previously sent newsletters.
- Once saved, you can preview who will be sent the Newsletter at the bottom of the Newsletter review page, which can be accessed by clicking on View for the specific Newsletter.
NOTE: There is no way to further filter newlsetters to a smaller group of contacts from the contacts who already have access to the fund.
