Stop Sending Communications to Specific Contacts
In certain situations, there may arise a scenario where a contact expresses their desire to discontinue receiving communications. This could be due to various reasons such as personal preferences, change in circumstances, or simply wanting to minimize incoming messages. Thankfully, Sensr Portal has incorporated a solution to address this concern. This modification can be easily made either by the contact themselves or by an administrator.
Important: This action can only be done by the contact, or by an Admin who is in the view site as contact mode.
How To Stop Sending Communications
There are two ways to stop sending communications to specific contacts
- Logged in as an Admin
Logged into the portal as an investor/contact (refer to steps #3-4)
- From an Admin account, navigate to the Contact tab in the main menu and locate the contact in question.
Under the Manage column to the far right of the contact name, click view site as contact.
Alternatively, under the Contact column, you can select the contact's name and then click the View as contact button located at the top. *Both paths lead to the same result and you will arrive on the contact's overview page in the software.
Click on the contact's name in the upper right corner and select the first option from the drop-down menu, Profile.
- Scroll down to the bottom and click the Edit button. The page reloads.
- Scroll down again and uncheck the box below Receive email updates from this site. Unchecking the box turns off all communication from Sensr Portal.
Click Save.
