Allow Contact Submitted Profile Changes
Overview
The Sensr Portal gives investors access to a host of important information. They can view their investments, current opportunities, distributions, and documents and they can even update their profiles and sign subscription agreements when prompted. Each time an investor makes one of these changes on the portal, Admins are notified in real-time via the Notifications Center.

IMPORTANT: To have the ability to approve or decline contact submitted profile changes on the Notifications Page, please contact Customer Success.
Notifications Page
In addition to the real-time notification, Admins can view when a contact submits a profile change on the Notifications Page. Here Admins can view a complete list of all changes including contact submitted profile changes as well as approve any proposed changes before they are posted to the system.
For example, if a contact updates their address and phone number, Admins will have visibility of this modification once the contact submits the change. The admin can then approve or decline the change on the Notifications Page.
Access the Notifications Page
- Click on the bell icon in the upper right to view the list of notifications.
- Select the related notification to open the Notifications Report page.
- Use the related column headers to locate, view, and sort important information:
TIP: You can also access the Notifications page from by clicking on View All in the Notifications Center panel.
Date: | the date/time when a contact submitted a change |
Type: | the type of change |
Description: | who made it and any additional details |
Status: | Approved or Denied for contact submitted changes. For all other changes (i.e.: file uploads), the status is Pending or Dismissed |
Manage: | View File, Approve, Decline or Dismiss |
To take the necessary action, simply click the related link located under the Manage column.
IMPORTANT: Contact-submitted profile change notifications must be acted upon by an Admin and cannot be dismissed. Admins must review the change request and either Approve or Decline the contact submitted change.
Admin Email Notification
When a contact submits a profile change request, in addition to being able to view this information in Sensr Portal on the Notification Page, administrators are also notified via email. See example image below.
In addition, admins will also receive an email notification once the request has either been approved, or declined. See the example image below.
Investor Portal View: Contact-Submitted Profile Change
Contacts can submit change requests on the portal to update personal and investment-related information such as payment information and address. After a contact submits a change on the portal, a green banner appears to notify them that the requested changes were submitted for approval as indicated below.
NOTE: From the Admin view, once the contact submits a change request, a PENDING tag will be assigned and the tag will not be removed until the request is approved or declined. From the Investor view, the notifications panel displays change requests that have been approved and are pending approval.
