Create a Fund

Sensr Portal allows users to easily create a fund as well as publish a current opportunity, when ready, in a straight-forward workflow.

  1. From the Funds tab in the main menu, click +Add.
  2. Leave Published, Public Minisite, and Publicly Available unchecked at the top of the form.
  3. In the Status menu, select Active, Current Opportunity or Completed.
  4. Enter the Fund Name.
  5. You may fill in the optional fields: Funding date, Location, Funding Amount, and Target Annualized % Return or leave them blank.

TIP: If you would like to add custom fund fields, contact the Sensr Portal Client Success team support@sensrsolutions.com.

  1. Fill in the Summary. This is an optional field, but we recommend adding a 2-3 paragraph summary of your fund to remind investors of the details of the fund they have invested in.
  2. Next, you will see that a Distribution field has been created for you. If you need additional fields, select from the list of options as needed.

NOTE: Once the fund has been created, admins can configure options to create additional distribution fields using the Configure function after creating a fund. *Be advised, standard distribution fields are fixed and unable to be moved within the Distributions table.

  1. When you are ready, click Create Fund/Create Fund to create your active fund on Sensr Portal.

Publish a Fund or Fund

  1. Begin on the related fund page. Click the Edit Details button at the top of the page.
  2. At the top of the Edit Details page, there is a check box next to the field Published.
  3. Check that box and then scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  4. Click Update Fund.
  5. The fund should appear as Published on the fund page and will now be available to any users on the portal who can access to the fund (always investors and any other users who have been granted access).

NOTE: A fund must be published in order for the data to be visible to an investor on the portal. For more information on the different fund options available check out the article, Published vs. Public Minisite vs. Publicly

How to Give Users Access to a Fund

Any user that holds an investment in the active fund will automatically have access to the fund in question, however, to grant access to additional users, you may provide access using tags, selecting specific users to grant access to the fund or provide access to all users by scrolling down to the access panel and clicking Allow all users to access and receive updates about this fund.
