Fund Details Page: Distributions Tab
The Distributions tab provides all available distribution information related to the fund. You can perform various functions such as download a template and upload all positive cashflow distributions for existing funds, contacts and investors. In addition, the portal offers admins the flexibility to Configure the Distribution table to add as many distribution types per fund as needed.
NOTE: All property types have been migrated and converted into fund types.

Distribution Tab Buttons Overview
- Delete button allows you to delete by date or delete the last distribution.
- Upload button allows you to upload distributions in XLSX and CSV formats.
- Download button allows you to download the template or download all distributions in XLSX or CSV.
- + Add button to add a single or multiple distribution.
- Available under the ellipses [ ... ] menu
- Crosscheck button to compare investor distribution totals and distribution event totals.
- Configure button allows you to configure the distribution table. For more information refer to Configure Distributions Table.
Data Upload Requirements
It is important to understand the Distribution table before you begin uploading data. The Distribution table has the following standard fields:
- Partner ID refers to the Investor ID from Intacct.
- Investor ID refers to the system ID given to the investor by Sensr Portal.
- Investor refers to the name of the investor.
- Date refers to the date of distribution provided by Intacct.
- Description refers to the description of the distribution referred to by Intacct.
- Distribution refers to the distribution amount.
- Total refers to the total amount of all distribution columns.
- Manage allows you to delete or edit a distribution.
How to Upload Distribution Data
- Click the Download button on the Distriubtions tab and select template.
On the downloaded template, ensure the number and order of columns match the table in the portal. Validate the Investor ID and Investor columns are populated, and the remaining columns are left blank.
Sample Distriubtions Download Template - Next, prepare the file and ensure the following:
- Investor ID, Date and Distribution are populated for every record. Any empty cells in these columns will result in an error.
- All investors must already exist in the sytem.
IMPORTANT:
- Remove any rows with investors who are not included in this round of distributions.
- By default, each table includes mandatory columns for Investor ID, Distribution (Amount), and Date. Currently, the portal does not support recallable distributions.
When the template has been modified accordingly and the file is ready, click the Upload button and select the relevant file format from the menu: XLSX or CSV.
- Select the file to upload.
- A green banner appears validating the file. Once the file validation passes, a preview screen is displayed. Review the data before clicking the Upload button.
- Upon successful upload, a second green banner appears notifying you that the upload successfully finished.
NOTE: Any errors will be listed in a yellow banner at the top of the page to alert you. The types of errors you may see include:
- Unexpected number of columns.
- Unexpected format for a column.
- Unexpected Investor ID.
- Missing required field.
- Incorrect file format.
*These errors must be resolved before a successful upload is completed.
How to Download Distribution Data
- To export all distribution data for a fund, simply click on the Download button and select the preferred format.
This downloaded file includes all distribution events and related details (minus any distributions that have been deleted).
