Functions: Permissions - Transfer Out

When an investor transfers out of a fund, Sensr Portal allows you to set and track the Transfer Out Date while respecting the investor and contact permissions to documents and data up until that transfer date.  Transfer Out dates can be setup per contact to accommodate different sceanrios.   

What is a Transfer Out Investor?

A transfer out investor is an investor who has exited the fund. Once an Investor is transferred out:

  • The investor won't be able to view documents with an Assigned Date after the Transfer Out Date.
  • The investor won't be able to receive emails sent after the Transfer Out Date.
  • The investor won't be able to view fund updates published after Transfer Out Date.

NOTE: Built-in controls ensure transferred-out investors cannot query or access documents dated after their Transfer Out date via SensrAI.

IMPORTANT: An Investor is considered to be fully transferred out of a fund when all of the investors contacts have transferred out.


Set Transfer Out Date for Investors in a Fund

  1. Navigate to Functions > Permissions. Permissions are grouped by fund on the Contacts tab. Use the available filter to locate the related fund and click Edit Fund.

  1. In the Transfer Out Date column, select the desired date. Click Save.


Set Transfer Out Date for a specific contact across multiple funds

  1. Use the Contact available filter to select a single contact and then click Edit Contact to modify multiple fund permissions at once.

  1. On the Edit Contact Permissions page, enter the effective date in the Transfer Out Date column. Click Save.


Bulk Manage Transfer Out Date Set

  1. To set Transfer out dates in bulk, click Download XLSX.

  2. Update the file accordingly. Be sure to save before moving on to the next step.
  3. Next, click Upload XLSX to upload the file.

IMPORTANT: All transfer out dates must be the same across each line item (e.g., folder) for the same contact in the file to ensure a successful upload.
